5 Accomplishments

I’m having trouble getting going this morning. I am motivated, but dragging my ass. I feel beat down. So, to put myself into a positive mind set I’m going to list out what I’ve done right this week!

1) Continued to drop weight. Down to 265lbs from my starting weight of 323lbs. I can’t believe I am walking with almost 60lbs less fat on myself. Every time I lift a weight I think to myself “I was carrying this around every day on me”. I feel lighter, stand taller and run faster than ever before. Now to lose another 20lbs.

2) I bought my first “Large” shirt since I was a kid, and it fit me great! Half a year ago I was bursting at the seems wearing XXL shirts… if you are a big person in the Niagara region, head to the Salvation Army on Ontario St. I’m donating good clothing like crazy. Garbage bags full.

3) I bought a pair of jeans, size 40. Half a year ago I was wearing a 46. Goal is to get my waist to a 38 still.

4) Made my 20th blood donation. I was excited, but then realized I need to get to 25 donations to get the fancy new card. I’ll keep pushing forward towards it.

5) I’ve been able to lift twice this week. My hand is finally healed enough for me to start giving it some resistance. Adding lifting to my cardio should help me start to see some huge results! I am excited.

Bonus) I picked up my first GMAT study guide. I’m going to write the test in 2012. This will be the first step towards me getting my MBA.

Regardless, life is great. I’m going to keep pushing towards my goals.
